I wont go into what has happened to me much as we all have our trials and blessings, and we all know what is happening in the world, lol. I just hope that everyone is safe and well and as we say in NZ "kia kaha" meaning "be strong".
I have not picked up my crochet hook for a long time due to an accident where I tripped over a dog! I hurt my shoulder and elbow and it is taking ages to heal. But we are getting there. Slowly but surely.
Even though no crochet is being done I have decided to carry on blogging as I miss it, but my focus will be on the home front, cooking, gardening and other bits and pieces affecting my life, in other words a diary. And just maybe crochet one day will creep back in.
One sad piece of news is that my cat Ambrose has passed, one week shy of his 19th birthday. It hit me hard even though I was expecting his passing for the last few months of his life, he was my shadow and companion for all of those 19 years.
I want this post to be a tribute to Ambrose and the happy years he gave me.

DeleteOh I am SO sorry to read this Sharon. Ambrose is just such a beautiful cat. He reminds me so much of Blackie. I have been away to my Mums & am just catching up on posts now. I hope you do manage to start blogging again. RIP Ambrose - he will be at the Rainbow Bridge now & you will meet again one day. Xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you Julie, yes it was sad losing him but he was ready to go and he had a good long life which he might not have had if a friends dig hadnt found him abandoned by the Wanganui river at round about 6 weeks old. I am looking forward to blogging again. Hope your Mum is doing okay.
DeleteNice to see you back so sorry to read about Ambrose. A wonderful tribute.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteThanks for visiting Linda, yes 19 years is a long time and it is a comfort to know he had a long and happy life as he start out so badly, abandoned by the river and was found by neighbours dog wwhen he was about 6 weeks old.
ReplyDeleteHi Zana, Like yourself I have been away from my blog.... 10 months...much too long...sigh but I am back at last. I am so sorry to hear about Ambrose...he was so lucky though you obviously gave him a wonderful loving home. We in this part of Spain are all fine....no incidents at all within the family thank goodness. My niecs and nephews in Nelson and Christchurch are good too so they tell me...such a relief. As I am trying to catch up with all my blogfriends and at the same time invite everyone to enter my Fresh Start Giveaway on my blog. I think we all need a little something to "lift our spirits" and I thought a giveaway would help :-). keep well. Amanda R.I.P. Ambrose

ReplyDeleteHi Zana! I have missed you blogging, but today I saw you a comment you had recently left on another's blog and I followed the link here! I'm glad you're back. I'm sorry to read about Ambrose. It's a couple of months since you posted this, but I know the loss of a beloved pet is felt long after their passing. What a beautiful and special cat he was!

ReplyDeleteThank you for such a great post you wrote here and I'm very obliged to write an article here on the benefit of herbal herbs.I am 29 years old and have been diagnosed with breast cancer, ease of treatment and a similar story, except for my first acceptance as a rejection of herbal medicine. I was not part of the Perseid movement and did not really build relationships with any of them, I just believed in their operation. I say this because it was during the use of Dr. Itua herbal medicine that I now attest that herbal medicine is real, the phytotherapy Dr. Itua heals my breast cancer which I suffered for 2 years. Dr. Itua herbal medicine is made of natural herbs, with no side effects, and easy to drink.
