There is a lot of tidying in the garden waiting to be done. Planning of the summer vegetable garden. There is still some goodies from the winter garden to harvest, mainly kale, silverbeet (chard) and some broccoli, along with the herbs coriander, parsley and rosemary. There is still plenty of squash and pumpkin stored away.
This year I have bought 3 packets of wildflower mixes to sow. One for the shade, one for the low borders and the other a more traditional mix for my wild garden down the back. The other evening I was on U Tube and happen to notice the video below.
It is a tour around a glorious cottage garden in Sweden, it is so beautiful and the accompanying music is gentle and calming. If you like visiting gardens do watch it.
A miracle has happened, 2 days ago I got out my crochet hook and I have started to crochet again. I will post a picture next time. But for today I want to get into the garden.

Lovely to see you pop up on my blog feed today Sharon. Yes I love spring & especially love the daffy's too. I have seen that You tube video before - I think I've watched it twice & its just SO lovely & makes me wish I had a garden like that.
ReplyDeleteThank you Julie. I have watched it twice too, so beautiful, I bet it is a lot of work though!
DeleteDaffodils are really one of my favourite flowers and so remind me of home...such fond memories of picking bunches and bunches of wild daffodils with my Mum up the woods. Beautiful video....what I call a natural garden which I so much prefer. A delight to watch. Good that you have returned to your crochet I shall look forward to your next post. Crochet has been such a boon during these times we are living through.......pushing the blues away as I hook. Keep well Amanda :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Amanda, yes crochet is very calming to the soul, I managed some this afternoon as it was too cold to be in the garden!
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky to be approaching Spring it's my favorite time of the year, I'm sad that our days are getting shorter and the colder weather will soon be on us, enjoy every bit of your garden while you can. I'm looking forward to seeing your crochet it's great that you are in the mood again, that Swedish garden is beautiful. Have a great weekend. x
ReplyDeleteNarcisos e junquilhos, amo...são lidos demais.
ReplyDeleteO vídeo é muito bonito, minha paixão um jardim assim.
Por aqui tricotando muito, ainda está úmido e frio.
Boa semana! bj
Your daffodils are so cheery! Happy Spring to you! One of these springs I'm going to sew wildflowers, but for now I'm looking forward to the coming autumn. :) The video garden tour is amazing! While that garden is beautiful and sweet and I'd love to sit in it, I can't even imagine how much work is involved. It's owner has my admiration.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers and pictures !

ReplyDeleteThank you for such a great post you wrote here and I'm very obliged to write an article here on the benefit of herbal herbs.I am 29 years old and have been diagnosed with breast cancer, ease of treatment and a similar story, except for my first acceptance as a rejection of herbal medicine. I was not part of the Perseid movement and did not really build relationships with any of them, I just believed in their operation. I say this because it was during the use of Dr. Itua herbal medicine that I now attest that herbal medicine is real, the phytotherapy Dr. Itua heals my breast cancer which I suffered for 2 years. Dr. Itua herbal medicine is made of natural herbs, with no side effects, and easy to drink.
